The Best Mp3 Players Available!

I don't know about you but, I never really got into the whole iPod deal. I never really understood what the big deal was between an Apple iPod or an Mp3 player, I mean really what is the difference! I see none where I'm standing! I had a friend a few months that got one of those really tiny Apple iPods, ya it held like 500 songs but the buttons were so small you had to tap the keys with the tip of a pen to switch songs, or turn up the volume! I mean, was that the allure? Because it's small and it fits in your pocket? Weird. What I did get into though was Mp3 players, these are nicer, badder, and more awesome than those puny iPods! And you don't need a pen tip to change the song either! Personally I bought a Cowon D2, it got terrific reviews, its sleek, it fits in my pocket, I can put thousands of songs on it, the quality is outstanding and I have been happy with it ever since I got it!

Another terrific Mp3 player, however, is one called Arcos 500951 605, this one has a nice big screen so you don't have to squint in order to watch the movies you put on the player, crystal clear screen it actually has the highest screen Resolution (800x480) and the highest quality screen in a Portable Media Player (PMP). Use the touch-screen to easily operate the device with your finger or stylus. Fabulous sound and it's huge, you can upload 40,000 photos, 2,000 songs or 5 movies or a little bit of everything. And lastly? The price? It's the ultimate package for less than $200. Awesome!

A second one I had heard a lot of great things about was called Philips GoGear SA9200 2GB. This one is quite simple but it still does what its supposed to and it does it well! Enjoy total control of your music and photos instantly, thanks to a super-smart, super-responsive menu. Switch on your GoGear and marvel at how it comes to life to reveal a vibrant, full-colored LCD. 2 GB capacity for up to 1,000 songs or up to 500 pictures, So i'ts not as large as the Cowon or the Arcos but remember you CAN delete and add new songs/pictures to your player, and you can do it quite easily.

And lastly here is one I bought for my mom its called the Virtual Touch VT-2, it''s a touch screen media player. But the reason I got this for my mom was because she doesn't have young eyes like she used to (sorry mom) so she either has to put her glasses on or squint. She loves watching movies so I figured hey, I may as well get her one of these as a surprise. It's big enough for her space wise at 2GB it holds about two movies (4 hours altogether) and the screen is 3 inches and has a nice resolution as well. She loves it, I love it, she loves me. Hey what else could I ask for!

Of course there are 5 zillion other ones out there including the puny Apple iPods but these are ones I have either heard rave reviews about or that I have had personal experience with. Good luck in your search for the perfect Mp3 player!

Looking For A New Gaming Console? Why Not Try The Wii?

Who doesn't love games?!? I don't think I can name one person who doesn't enjoy playing video games online or offline, it's just a fact of life! Between the DS lites and the Xbox 360s there's no denying that gaming is a large part of a lot of people's lives. According to market researcher David Cole, who runs the firm DFC Intelligence, his best estimate is that 40 percent of U.S. households own a working video-game console. Michael Pachter, an analyst for Wedbush Morgan Securities, estimates that 52% of households own consoles. Neither Cole nor Pachter is counting handheld devices, such as Nintendo's Game Boy or Sony's PlayStation Portable (PSP). Whether it's 40% or 52% those are still pretty large percentages regarding ownership of gaming consoles! I don't know about you but, I have at least three major consoles and I just bought a DSlite very recently and I absolutely love it!

The one console I don't have that I really want is the Wii along with the ifit, once or twice I have played on it with the boxing game and it seems like a really cool wait to not only blow off some steam but only get your heart pumping. As long as you can get past looking like a semi idiot, bouncing around punching; nothing, then you can really get into this game and this console! The Wii is usually pretty expensive even if you manage to buy one on eBay! A few weeks ago I fought for it but stopped at $500. Eventually two people fought and it got sold for $4500! Recently however, being the researcher I am, I found a few sites online that allow you to buy Wiis for a really great price, these stores are known as cheap or discount stores. I prefer the word discount because when you say the word "cheap" a lot of people assume it's of lesser quality which just isn't the case!

These sites are cool because they aren't some big whig store like Circuit City or Best Buy but, they still carry high quality consoles, games and accessories, plus they are 50% cheaper than the brand name stores. The only thing you really have to do is make sure the site your buying from is legit, you can do this by simply going to your favorite search engine and looking for reviews about the website in mind. You will either find good things or bad things, but take notice if you hear 99 great reviews and 1 bad review, chances are it's still a great store, but that person is probably trying to cause problems for whatever reason! It's a shame, but it does happen! If the site looks good and you see good reviews, and they offer good prices, I say go for it! You don't have anything to lose, only a Wii to gain, and to me that's well worth the research to find an affordable one online! Good luck!

What to Look for in a Flex Circuit Manufacturer

Be it medical, aerospace, telecommunication, industrial or for any domestic purposes, flex circuits have found their way into every domain that requires efficient and compact equipments to run its process.

Flex circuit manufacturers have stepped up their R D methodologies to implement better solutions in line to an increasing demand for effective, durable, and light-weight devices.

Variety - the name of the game
Today, while most flex circuit manufacturing companies vouch for variety, the task for the user, especially Original Equipment Manufacturers, is to choose the one who can cater to the exact need.

From flame retardant to various stress-resistant varieties; single-sided flex circuits to various double-sided multi-layered varieties; SMT, through-hole, to chip on flex assembly - in each of the needs, it would be wise to go with the one who has the requisite experience of manufacturing robust and resilient circuits.

Choose the one who is certified
Most of the specialists in flex circuit manufacturing offer expert services corresponding to different phase of flex circuit manufacturing. While it is ideal to choose one who is capable to cater to demands right from conceptualization to Gerber file creation it is essential to adhere to one who is certified by a global body.

It can be anything from ISO 9001: 2000 certification, UL, MilSpec or ROHS compliance, each of these recognitions certifies company's compliance towards industry best practices. The certification also proves the effectiveness of a company in meeting an exact requirement - whatsoever advanced it is.

Look for the one who ensures interactive customer service policies
Considering the range of technical complexities involved with a process like Flex circuit manufacturing, only a company with dedicated customer care service measures put in place, can provide an easy way out.

This model is year old now and is an upgradation to its preceding model the A550. This model boasts enhanced features than that of its previous model launched sometime before it. It offers a 7.1 mega pixel image resolution to its 2.5-inch color LCD screen.

The main handy feature that stands out is the face-detection autofocus which allows the user to get the focus on the face of the image. This canon digital camera does so by surrounding brackets around the faces it has a focus on and allows the user to adjust the exposure and the lighting. This USP of the model was highlighted in their Ad campaign and it is also the best feature of the camera that works better than its other rival models.

The camera adopts a 4x zoom and captures detailed images thanks to its 7.1 mega pixel resolution. The receptiveness of the zoom is fast and at a click of a button. The start up of this digital camera is fast and it takes about a 1.6 sec delay between the shots. The continuous mode is a bit lethargic and manages about 1.3 frames per second. The other special features include Still frame sound caption recording, Creative Effects menu, Auto White balance including five preset white balance modes and custom white balance setting capability, DPOF (Digital Print Order Format) compatibility.

This canon digital camera weighs around 165 grams without the battery and is not very sleek but it does fit in bags and pockets. It is not for the people who look out for very sleek and slim models. It is a subcompact camera and is high on features. It can run on a pair of AA battery supply or rechargeable AA size Ni-MH or through its AC adapter kit. The batteries seem a better option for avoiding the carriage of the adapter and can also be used as a back-up power source.

The Best Outdoors Wireless Speakers

Since man's advent on the planet, we have always been fascinated by the outdoors. Although the world infrastructure has since changed and there are more buildings and the world looks more like a concrete jungle, the allure of the outdoors has not left man. Weather permitting many individuals and families still find themselves walking jogging, going for picnics, camping and other exciting recreational activities. Because of the time spent outdoors, people now carry their electronic gadgets with them when venturing outdoors. In the last 20 years we have seen the musical devices such as the walkman and Discman become popular and now the IPod has hit the consumer market. With the Discman, one could easily carry their favorite music with them anywhere they went. The IPod comes with a set of quality earphones. As MP3 devices and IPods have evolved, outdoor wireless speakers have also evolved with them. The classic IPod now comes with a capability of adding external speakers meaning that one need not necessarily listen to their music alone.

Wireless speakers have been a welcome addition to the world of outdoor electronics especially IPods. This is because for the IPod, bulky CDs were eliminated and music is transferred digitally from its source, in this case ITunes, directly to the IPod. And with the colossal storage capacity of the IPod, people could now travel outdoors with thousands of tunes in their IPod device. With outdoor speakers, a group of outdoor enthusiasts could enjoy an endless stream of musical playlists in CD-quality fashion wherever they are.

Due to the fact that many people now use computers are multimedia gadgets to watch movies, stream sound and video, attend conference calls, use voice recognition software to dictate writing and the like, computer speakers have not only become an absolute necessity but have become more and more sophisticated.

The major outdoors computer manufacturers are Dell, Compaq, HP, Acer, AIWA, JVC, Creative Labs, Harman Kardon, Bose and Samsung, all of who are also household names when it comes to consumer entertainment electronics. Bose speakers are especially in high demand although because of their high quality, can be a little pricy. Other companies such as Apple also create outdoor wireless speakers for their portable musical gadgets.

For a price of around $200-400, one can get some quality wireless outdoor speakers which promise a rich sound regardless of where one is located. Outdoors speakers have become popular owing to their convenience. They can be easily carried and then deployed out of site where they do not hinder any social activities and all this without compromising the sound quality.

One downside with outdoor speakers is the fact that they are battery powered. This has its own limitations in that in the event that the batteries strength begins to diminish then the quality of sound will also begin to suffer. The length of the musical experience is therefore limited to how long the batteries last. If the outdoor event continues for an extended period then the cost of batteries can be high.

Know More About Wireless Outdoor Speakers

One of the great impediments to a great outdoors experience whether it be at the pool or at a camp site was the fact that most music gadgets that people carried were old fashioned; not only requiring batteries but also if it was a sound system the speakers were attached to the actual musical device. This meant that the quality of music was somewhat compromised due to the wiring involved between the speakers and the actual unit. But technology has since advanced and this scenario need not be the case all the time especially for those in love with the great outdoors. Wireless outdoors speakers are here and those that want to carry their IPods to the pool or a picnic or an outdoors camping expedition can now do so with quality acoustic mini speakers to enrich their musical experience. But first of all, let us see the concept behind wireless outdoor speakers.

Wireless speakers are powered by the same technological concept that works in radios. When music is being played, a device inside the speakers picks up the wireless signal and converts them to digital signals and then transmits them to the speakers. A digital amplifier inside the speakers decodes the signal and this comes out as sound. This essentially means that the signal is sent as analog but is transmitted as digital by the digital decoder inside the speaker system. This translates to very quality sound.

The range of wireless speakers can be said to be the same range that one would receive with a good cordless phone. This can be about 900MHz. One plus about wireless speakers is that the signal can transmit through walls making it convenient for users. No cables are needed to connect between the speakers and the tuner/receiver. The speakers also come with a tuner knob which can be used to tune the signal to the best frequency.

Wireless speakers are very convenient. They can be placed in any direction to the discretion of the listener and can transmit sound in any direction. This can be ideal for a group setting and the speakers can be placed out of the way where they will not hinder social activity.

Wireless speakers have become especially popular with outdoor recreational activities. This is because rather than each person coming with their own musical device, the whole group can listen to the same speakers which can be conveniently placed out of sight.

One downside to wireless speakers is that even though the name suggests they are wireless, they do require an electrical cord that runs from the speakers to the wall outlet. Another downside is that the speakers, although elegant, cannot guarantee quality sound past a certain distance from the tuner. This is because the signal gets weaker with distance. The signal being decoded can also experience interference especially if there are other wireless devices in the vicinity such as cell phones and other Bluetooth devices.

Are Wireless Speakers Replacing Conventional Speakers?

With many consumer electronics music market becoming more and more dynamic and mobile, many , manufacturers have shifted into wireless gadgets which cater to an increasingly mobile market. From cell phones to IPods, people feel the need to break free from their mundane everyday toys which tie them to one place. They now want to go wireless. Traditionally, music speakers have been more or less stationery and attached to the main musical tuner via a spaghetti mesh of cables.

As we are all aware, this arrangement has its inherent dangers. Children playing with these wires can unplug them and interrupt the sound. This is not to mention the danger of tripping and falling on the wires. Convectional speakers with the crisscrossing wires are also unsightly and do not contribute to good interior decor of the room.

There has also been instances where the wiring and cables from electronic gadgets such as speakers has contributing to fires. The answer to all this is wireless speakers.

Wireless speakers are gaining in popularity. They are small, attractive and because of their lack of wiring running from the musical unit to the speakers. Electronic manufacturers that make wireless speakers cater to the exotic market that is interested in diminutive size without sacrificing the quality of the sound and this is perfectly the case with wireless speakers.

Wireless speakers as we mentioned have gained their popularity from the fact they are very convenience. Coming in smaller size than conventional speakers, wireless speakers can be placed inconspicuously under the couch and other places where they are not so obvious and where their appearance does not influence the interior decor of a room. This results to less clatter. They can also be positioned strategically where the sound will be best. Because of their smaller size wireless speakers can also be easily transported.

Wireless speakers use the same technology that is used to transmit radio waves only this time it is analog sound waves that are transmitted. Then a device located in the speakers decodes the signal from analog to digital and converts it into sound. All this is done instantaneously. A great advantage with wireless speakers is that the sound can actually be transmitted even through walls. This means that the speakers do not have to be physically located where the musical device is located. This reduces the chances of damaging the tuner or musical receiver. A good example would be placing small surround sound speakers in the bathroom or washroom while the actual digital player is far away in another room where there no risk of water-damage.Wireless speakers can also be placed strategically in different places in the room for maximum sound effect.
